Educational Tours
KFRC is committed to its mission of furthering the public’s understanding and appreciation of Kodiak’s rich marine diversity, and in so doing offers guided private and educational school tours with advance reservation.
Class Field Trips
Teachers looking to plan a field trip for their class should call ahead to schedule a visit with the Interpretive Specialist. With advance planning arrangements can be made to include activities such as question and answer periods at the touch tank with a marine biologist and program viewings from selected marine educational videos and DVD’s.
Length of Tours
Depending on the age group these tours range from 45 to 75 minutes. The maximum number of students per group is 20.

Private Group Tours
Tour companies and meeting planners seeking to make arrangements for private group tours may contact the Interpretive Specialist. Reservations are required.
