Reserving Facility/Meeting SpaceThe Kodiak Fisheries Research Center has a total of three conference rooms available for use by the public, one large and two small. The main lobby and Interpretive Center (upstairs and downstairs) including the large conference room can be reserved for reception purposes.Kitchen facilities including a refrigerator and microwave are available upon request. Reserving Space at the KFRCTo reserve a conference room or the lobby area for a reception, please contact Jessica Basuel at 907-486-9342 or email jbasuel@kodiakak.us, to check for date and space availability. Once space has been confirmed available by the Building Receptionist, the KFRC Building Use Policy and Cleaning Procedures document should be reviewed. | |
Some examples of meeting room set ups can be found on the KFRC Sample Room Set Ups document.Contract for Center Use and Facility Use FeesFacility Use Fees are charged to for-profit groups for use of the conference rooms. Non profit groups, state and fisheries organizations are exempt from room use fees when used during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Facility Use Fees are charged to all groups holding receptions or utilizing food and/or beverage. All Facility Use Fees collected are used for public educational programs related to the mission of the Center. A completed and signed Contract for Center Use should be faxed to the Building Receptionist at 907-481-1830. Your space is reserved when the two checks, one for the Facility Use Fee and one for the refundable cleaning deposit, have been received by the Building Receptionist. |
